“Combining psychedelics with psychotherapy can open doors to a profound connection between mind, body, and soul.”

I truly believe that psychedelic medicines possess a unique intelligence, guiding us to the places within ourselves that need healing and offering the revelations we need to see. By learning to embrace the act of surrender and release, we can form a partnership with these medicines to reach the core of our souls, where true healing resides. In our fast-paced lives, we often overlook the subtle messages our souls convey through images, messages that can guide us towards our genuine paths and authentic selves.

How Does KAP impact depression?

Reward and Motivation Systems:

  • Enhanced Reward Processing: Ketamine positively influences the brain's reward system, potentially improving the ability to derive pleasure from positive experiences.

  • Increased Motivation: Ketamine can impact brain pathways associated with motivation, potentially enhancing an individual's drive to engage in therapeutic activities and positive behavioral changes.

  • Neuroplasticity and Mood Improvement: Ketamine's effect on neuroplasticity may contribute to mood improvement, reshaping thought patterns and attitudes related to motivation.

  • Augmented Therapeutic Benefits: Ketamine-induced states enhance the effectiveness of therapy by making individuals more receptive to addressing underlying motivational issues.

  • Potential for Sustained Changes: By influencing the reward and motivation systems, KAP offers a pathway for sustained behavioral changes and a more positive outlook.

How Does KAP Reduce Anxiety?

Fear Memory Reconsolidation:

  • Memory Retrieval Disruption: Ketamine disrupts the recall of fear-related memories, weakening their emotional intensity during therapy sessions.

  • Facilitates Emotional Processing: KAP creates an environment conducive to exploring and addressing the emotional content of traumatic memories, aiding in their processing.

  • Neuroplasticity and Memory Modification: Ketamine's impact on neuroplasticity may modify fear memories by creating new neural connections or altering existing ones.

  • Glutamate Receptors: Ketamine interacts with the neurotransmitter glutamate, which plays a crucial role in anxiety regulation.

We approach experience much as an artificial intelligence (AI) program does, with our brains continually translating the data of the present into the terms of the past, reaching back in time for the relevant experience, and then using that to make its best guess as to how to predict and navigate the future.
