Creative Calm: Finding Peace Through Art During the Holidays

  • Soul Development Center 1101 Fremont Avenue South Pasadena, CA, 91030 United States (map)

Join us at our ongoing monthly process group using three expressive arts techniques to further your therapeutic journey:

Neurographic Art, Imaginal Journal, and Touchstones.

These techniques creatively explore topics or insights discussed in talk therapy and/or Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. Our September group will focus on the cycles of nature and using seasons to inform your healing journey. Creating art can serve as a non-verbal means of expression, allowing you to externalize and explore your emotions and inner experiences. The act of creation can also help the integration of different thoughts and emotions into a cohesive visual representation. This integration can aid healing by promoting a sense of coherence and understanding of one's experiences. Discovering your creative potential also promotes a sense of accomplishment and self-efficacy, positively impacting your self-esteem and confidence.

Snacks, drinks, and art supplies will be provided.

 Fee: $100 ($50 attendance deposit)

Please RSVP by Friday November 1, 2024
